In the title compound, [Ag(C 10 H 8 NO 3 S)(C 8 H 12 N 2 )] n , the Ag + cation is three-coordinated by two N atoms from two 2,3,5,6tetramethylpyrazine ligands and one O atom from a 7aminonaphthalene-1-sulfonate anion. The 2,3,5,6-tetramethylpyrazine ligand acts as a bridging bidentate ligand, linking the Ag I centres into a one-dimensional chain. The chains are interconnected via intermolecular N-HÁ Á ÁO hydrogen bonds and C-HÁ Á Á interactions, resulting in the formation of a three-dimensional framework.
