We present symmetry analysis, Raman and Brillouin scattering selection rules and Raman spectra of \((\mathrm{GaAs})_{m} /(\mathrm{AlAs})_{n}\) superlattices grown on \(\mathrm{GaAs}\) substrates of (211) orientation. Using lattice dynamical calculations based on the shell model, an assignment of the
