## Abstract A novel slopeโstrip feeding technique for a microstrip antenna is presented in order to achieve a broad bandwidth. The experimental results show that the optimal bandwidth attained is 53.4% for less than โ10โdB return loss. ยฉ 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Microwave Opt Technol Lett 43: 1

## Abstract In this letter, we propose a new structure of an aperture coupled Tโshaped microstripโfed triangular patch antenna, which has similar radiation pattern properties, with the advantage of being physically smaller than the apertureโcoupled rectangular patch antenna or microstrip slot anten
A wideband pentagon-slot microstrip antenna with a semicircle probe feed is proposed. The broadband characteristic is achieved by cutting a pentagon slot at each corners of the patch. The proposed antenna is able to achieve an impedance bandwidth of 68.3% for a VSWR of less than 2. Experimental comp
## Abstract The broadband proximityโfed rectangular microstrip antenna (RMSA) is proposed. The proximityโfed antenna has larger bandwidth (BW) and is simpler in design when compared with Lโprobeโfed RMSA. Further, the BW of proximityโfed antenna is increased by using multiresonator or slot cut conf
