✦ Synopsis
In the title compound, (C 2 H 8 N) 2 [Cu 2 (C 5 HN 2 O 4 ) 2 (H 2 O) 2 ]Á-H 2 O, the cations, anions and water molecules are linked by hydrogen bonds into a network structure. Two pyrazole-3,5dicarboxylate trianions and one water molecule are coordinated to the Cu II ion and the geometry is square-pyramidal. Each pair of Cu II ions is bridged by two pyrazole-3,5dicarboxylate trianions, forming a dinuclear ring.
