✦ Synopsis
In the title compound, [ZnCl~2~(C~14~H~23~N~5~)]·CH~3~OH, the Zn atom is coordinated by two N atoms and two Cl atoms in an approximately tetrahedral arrangement. The dihedral angle between the N—Zn—N and Cl—Zn—Cl planes is 89.69 (5)°. The methanol solvent molecule takes part in the formation of the hydrogen-bond system.

In the title complex, [Zn(C 18 H 14 N 4 O 2 )]ÁCH 3 OH, two anionic 2-(1H-imidazol-2-yl)phenolate bidentate ligands coordinate through the phenolate O and imidazolyl N atoms to the central Zn II atom to give a four-coordinate tetrahedral geometry.
In the title compound, [Zn(C~30~H~28~BN~6~)(C~4~H~3~N~2~O~3~)]·CH~3~OH, the Zn^II^ atom is coordinated in a tetrahedral geometry by three N atoms from the pyrazolyl groups of the tripodal ligand, and by one O atom from a barbiturate anion.
