✦ Synopsis
We report on our progress in the fabrication and characterization of high-To Bi(Pb)-Sr-Ca-Cu-O thin films prepared on the in-house grown PbTiOq substrate with piezoelectricity. "The electrical properties strongly depend on the c-axis orientation rgtio of the PbTiO 3 substrate and temperature dependence of the critical current is similar to that in SNS-type weak link.

The use of garnet as substrates for growing high temperature superconductor films of Bi-Pb-Sr-Ca-Cu-0 (BPSCCO) system is reported here. Thick films of BPSCCO with a prevalently high % phase were successfully prepared on Gadolinium Gallium Garnet (GGG) substrates using the screen printing technique.
Superconducting Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O and Bi(Pb)-Sr-Ca-Cu-O f'flms (0.03-2.5t~m) are prepared by deposition onto MgO (200) single crystal substratesin a DC single target sputtering system (pure Ar plasma) and post-deposition anneal. Annealing condition studies show that the Tc values are very dependent on t
We have succeeded in fabricating the superconducting Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O thin films on Y3A15Ot2(YAG) single crystal subslrate, which had very smooth surface. The origin of the smooth film surface was examined by HREM observation of the microstructure. We proposed that the long-range lattice matching with
