✦ Synopsis
We have succeeded in fabricating the superconducting Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O thin films on Y3A15Ot2(YAG) single crystal subslrate, which had very smooth surface. The origin of the smooth film surface was examined by HREM observation of the microstructure. We proposed that the long-range lattice matching with the YAG substrate has a important role for fabricating the smooth surface film.
