โœฆ Synopsis

Brief Data Reports been mapped to Chr 3 by human-hamster somatic cell hybrid analysis. We localized the mouse Trh gene on Chr 6 in a region with homology to the human Chr 3 [6]. There are no known mouse mutants in this region that exhibit hypothroidism or growth insufficiency.

## Method of mapping: 113 animals from the backcross (DP-BB โ€ข DR-BB)F 1 โ€ข DP-BB were analyzed. Molecular reagent: Primer sequences used for PCR were a sense primer, 5'-CTCCCAGCTGTGGATGGGTTC-3' (nucleotide position 3134 to 3154 of mouse Hoxall homeobox gene), and an anti-sense primer, 5'-CCAGAACAGC

The gene for the mouse recoverin protein (23 kDa photoreceptor-specific protein, S-modulin, or the Cancer-Associated Retinopathy protein) was recently assigned to mouse chromosome 11, closely linked to trp53. In this paper, the human gene for recoverin was localized to human chromosome 17 by Souther
