## Abstract In this work, a model based on a coupled transmission line formulation is developed for microstrip rectangular double split‐ring resonators (DSRRs). This model allows using the physical dimensions of the DSRRs as an input avoiding commonly used extraction of equivalent parameters. The m

✦ Synopsis
Abstract
For the first time, the analytical model for a double split ring resonator with unequal width rings is developed. The proposed models for the resonators with equal and unequal widths are based on an impedance matrix representation and provide the prediction of performance in a wide frequency range. A phase compensation is implemented to adjust for the difference in length of the two rings, resulting in an accurate calculation of the resonant frequencies. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. ## Abstract The CPW‐fed configurations of dual‐mode ring resonator (DMRR) are introduced to improve the performance of the dual‐mode double ring resonator (DMDRR). To obtain low insertion loss (1.65 dB at TM~110~ mode and 0.91 dB at TM~210~ mode) and high out‐of‐band rejection level (−51.95 dB) and
## Abstract An improved filter design of a dual‐mode double‐ring resonator with radial stub for ultra‐wideband (UWB) applications is presented in this paper. Based on the double‐ring resonator and adjusted voltage/current couplings, two radial stubs are added to the outer ring in order to construct
