✦ Synopsis
Abstract
A method of preparation and flow cytometric analysis of chromosomes from human peripheral lymphocytes is described. The procedure allows a resolution coefficient of variation better than 3% using propidium iodide staining and a commercially available flow cytometer.

Lymphocyte subset analysis was performed on 114 healthy children and 84 healthy adults. Samples were prepared by a whole blood lysis technique and analyzed by flow cytometry. The percentage and total number of CD3 + , CD4 + , CD8 + , and CD19 + lymphocytes were calculated for each of six age groups.
## Background: The emergence of human herpesvirus 6 (HHV-6) as a human pathogen led to the possibility of specific therapy against HHV-6 and the development of standardized susceptibility assays of HHV-6 to antivirals. Methods: We have developed a flow cytometry method to analyze the multiplication
Background: Atherosclerotic plaques are heterogeneous vascular lesions. Changes in cell plaque composition are fundamental events inside the plaque microenvironment that are strictly related to the clinical outcome of these lesions (organ damage). The knowledge of these modifications may help to bet
