✦ Synopsis
The new superconducting phase Y2Ba4CusO~6_~ in epitaxially grown thin films is compared to the newly discovered BiaCa2SraCuaOt6+.~ structure. Properties of Y2naaCusOl6 ~ are compared to those of Bi4fa2Sr4Cu4Oi6+,. An analogy between the structure of those two materials is drawn and their properties are discussed.
