Al~traet. Shoot cultures of three garlic (Allium sativum) cultivars were kept in various temperatures and media in order to maintain their viability without subculture. A high level of viability was recorded after 16 months of culture at 4 Β°C with 100 g l-t sucrose in B-5 medium.
