The process of driving out of sulfuric acid from a carbon by heating in vacuum was tracked by ESR measurements. There is a sudden dramatic increase in width of the ESR line, followed by a somewhat slower decrease; the tip of the peak coinciding with the beginning of the driving-out process (-200°C).
## Abstract Various __N__‐nitrosamines were photolyzed in toluene solution in the temperature range −100°C to −30°C to yield dialkyl nitroxides. The nitrosamines studied were __N__‐nitrosodimethylamine, __N__‐nitrosodiethylamine, __N__‐nitrosodipropylamine, __N__‐nitrosodibutylamine and __N__‐nitro
