The reaction of oxalic amidines R 1 -N=C(NHR 2 )-C(NHR 2 )= N-R 1 with CH 3 MgX followed by uptake of CO 2 results in the formation of the trimeric carbamato complexes [R 1 -N= C(NR 2 -COO)-C(NR 2 COO)=N-R 1 ] 3 Mg 3 (THF) 6 (2a: R 1 = R 2 = Ph; 2b: R 1 = R 2 = p-tolyl) as the thermodynamically stab

Structures and infrared spectra of alumi
✍ A. Selmani; A. Ouhlal 📂 Article 📅 1992 🏛 Elsevier Science 🌐 English ⚖ 287 KB

The structures and the related vibrational spectra of the AICO2 complexes are investigated using a local spin density functional method. The calculations indicate in agreement with a recent spectroscopic study on this system, the existence of two isomers with almost the same energy ( < 2 kcal/mol).
