โฆ Synopsis
Actinobolin, an antibiotic obtained from a Streptomyces culture (2), has been shown to possess broad-spectrum antibacterial activity (3) as well as some antitumor (4, 5) and antileukemic (6) activity. Haskell and Bar&(z) reported an empirical formula of C,Haa_,,N,O, for actinobolin free base.

## Abstract The structures of the major thermal degradation products of linezolid (Zyvox^ยฎ^, PNUโ100766) are reported. Following hydrolytic decarboxylation, the remaining oxazolidinoneโderived skeleton of the antibiotic underwent a variety of acetyl migrations prior to deacetylation. Three of the d
