The integral total collision cross section for tie H 2 has been measured with an absolute accuracy of -+ 1% to -+4% between 0.14 meV and 2.9 eV. The data have been fitted by a spherical symmetric multiparameter Morse-splinedispersion potential, which agrees well with results of ab initio calculation
