## Abstract The 3,5โ€bis(5โ€carboxyโ€6โ€azauracilโ€1โ€yl)aniline (**7**) and 1,3,5โ€tris(5โ€carboxyโ€6โ€azauracilโ€1โ€yl)benzene (**10**) were prepared from 3โ€aminoโ€5โ€nitroacetanilide (**1**) __via__ intermediates **2โ€“6**.
