The surface grafting reactions of a series of isocyanates with hydroxyapatite particles at different temperatures were studied by Infrared spectrophotometry (IR) and thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA). The study results show that both hexamethylene diisocyanate (HMDI) and isocyanatoethyl methacrylat

β¦ Synopsis
Carnosine could be determined in the range between 1.0610 Γ7 and 5.5610 Γ6 M by differential pulse adsorptive stripping voltammetry (DPASV) on a static mercury electrode after derivatization with diazo-p-aminoacetophenone (DPAAP) at pH 9.6Β±9.7. The detection limit was 6.8610 Γ8 M, the relative standard deviation (n 10) for 5.0610 Γ6 M of carnosine was 1.8 %. The coupling reaction and electrochemical reaction mechanism of azo-carnosine were investigated by structure analysis, UV spectroscopic, cyclic voltammetry, DPASV and electrocapillary at mercury electrodes. A reversible two-electron via two-proton redox and adsorption-controlled process occurred in four consecutive steps with an intermediate at the mercury electrode.

## This paper deals with the relation between polymerization time and poly(p-phenylene) (PPP) yield in the synthesis of PPP by the Kovacic method. It is found that the reaction is uniform in the polymerization time range of less than 2 hr, with a PPP yield of up to about 60%, and then the yield in
The reaction of H atoms with SiCl 4 was studied behind reflected shock waves at temperatures between 1530 K and 1730 K and pressures around 1.5 bar by applying atomic resonance absorption spectroscopy (ARAS) for time resolved measurements of H atoms at the L β£ -line. The thermal decomposition of a f
This article gi¨es a study of coupled-mode analysis for chirowa¨eguides. Wa¨eguides with chiral material in contact with the perfect electric conducting walls are analyzed with the use of the magnetic-field-expansion approach. It is shown that this approach can pro-¨ide satisfactory results, includi
A three electrode thin-layer, Β―ow-by electrode cell was coupled on-line with electrospray-mass spectrometry (i.e., ECaES-MS) for the study of biological redox reactions. The cell made use of a commercially available 6.0 mm diameter, offset glassy carbon disk working electrode, a AgaAgCl reference el
The regioselectivity of the reaction of 1-(thiophenyl)-(Li-6), 1-(phenylsulfinyl)-(Li-12), 1-(phenylsulfonyl)-(Li-15) and 1-(diethoxyphosphoryl)allyllithium (Li-18) with CO 2 , PhNCO and PhNCS is investigated. Carboxylation of the allyl sulfide 6 and the allyl sulfoxide 12 proceeds with low regiosel
