Abstract~ontrol of a class of multivariable systems described by linear vector difference equations with constant but unknown parameters is discussed. A multivariable minimum variance strategy is first presented. This gives a generalization of the minimum variance strategy for single-input singleout

β¦ Synopsis
Ahstraet--Based on a very simple model, a discrete-time integrating regulator can be designed for a linear time-invariant system. The linear system is not restricted to be scalar with a monotone step response, as required in previously published literature. The number of tuning parameters in the controller depends on the number of steps in the staircase model which can be properly chosen so that the closed-loop system is an asymptotically stable system with a specified tracking speed.

Recently, a design of model matching and adaptive control systems under the presence of measurement noise employing a nonminimal order state observer was reported. But this method cannot be used for the case where the plant has deterministic disturbances. In this paper, we will show that the idea is
In this paper we consider adaptive regulator design for undamped infinitedimensional second-order systems in the case of collocated input and output operators. The adaptive regulator is constructed by the concept of adaptive PD control (proportional plus derivative control) and the estimation mechan
In this paper an exploratory technique based on the diagonalization of crossvariogram matrices is described. Through the definition of a model for the analysis and simulation of multivariate spatial data, a test procedure for the assumption of isotropy of multivariate spatial data is proposed. Appli
