✦ Synopsis

In the EM-routine, the thin sections are usually attached onto round copper grids. The sections on these EM-grids are then stained either with a quite expensive automatic staining apparatus or by transporting the grids by hand from solution to solution. Here we will present a simple, inexpensive and truly reliable apparatus for staining and handling grids.

This device consists of a siphon system and 5 or 10 grid disks, modified from the previous mode , for large numbers of grids with ultrathin sections. This method improves the ease of assembling grids onto the grid disk and also requires much less stain solution. This system only takes 5 min for one

In this paper, we present several new and generalized parallel dense matrix multiplication algorithms of the form C = αAB + βC on two-dimensional process grid topologies. These algorithms can deal with rectangular matrices distributed on rectangular grids. We classify these algorithms coherently int
