β¦ Synopsis
mathematical model and computer simulator are developed to aid in studying the issue of minority dominance. Mathematically precise definitions, lacking in prior research, are posed, then used to examine conditions under which minorities are dominated. Results indicate that some domination is inherent in simple democratic procedures, and that statistical methods should be used to infer causes of domination after facts are deduced directly from definitions.
