โœฆ Synopsis

A simple and rapid method for the extraction of five major alkaloids in opium using Sep-Pak C,, cartridges with analysis of the extracts by high performance liquid chromatography is reported. The recoveries were excellent for most alkaloids. The total time for each extraction was -30 min.
