Reactions of the hydroxyl radical with several linear hydrocarbon species occurring in combustion chemistry have been considered at temperatures near I100 K and 1 atmosphere in shock tube experiments The OH density was monitored using 310 nm UV absorption of the A 'E+ -X 'n transition Rate coefficie
## Abstract The reaction of CH~2~O with NO~2~ has been studied with a shock tube equipped with two stabilized ew CO lasers. The production of CO, NO, and H~2~O has been monitored with the CO lasers in the temperature range of 1140β1650 K using three different Arβdiluted CH~2~OβNO~2~ mixtures. Kinet
## Abstract The reaction between methyl and hydroxyl radicals has been studied in reflected shock wave experiments using narrowβlinewidth OH laser absorption. OH radicals were generated by the rapid thermal decomposition of tertβbutyl hydroperoxide. Two different species were used as CH~3~ radical
