Abstract

By analysing the PMR signal CH~hyd~ in hydrated acetaldehyde molecules, the various hydration products in water‐acetaldehyde solutions were detected and studied.

The hydration of several iron(H) compounds has heen studied by the MGssbauer technique and the X-ray diffraction method. The similarity of the MGssbauer parameters (isomer shift, quadrupole splitting) of aqueous iron(I1) salt solutions suggested that Fe\*+ contrary to Fe 3+ in the above solutions is
