โฆ Synopsis
A novel open-framework cerium phosphate 6uoride, (NH 4 )[Ce IV F 2 (PO 4 )], has been synthesized under hydrothermal conditions and characterized by means of single-crystal X-ray di4raction, ion chromatography analysis, and thermal analysis. The compound crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2 1 /m (No. 11), with a โซุโฌ 6.660(2), b โซุโฌ 5.875(2), c โซุโฌ 7.177(3) A s , โซุโฌ 114.31(2)3, and V โซุโฌ 255.9(2) A s 3 (R โซุโฌ 0.039 and R โซุโฌ 0.045). In this compound, the cerium-centered CeO 4 F 4 polyhedra link via Ce 2 F 2 rings to form corrugated chains along the b axis of the structure. These are tetrahedrally connected via PO 4 groups to create the three-dimensional network with a one-dimensional channel. NH ุ 4 cations are accommodated at the intersection of the channels.
