## Abstract A novel planar monopole antenna designed with tulip‐shaped structure is proposed for UWB applications. The corolla of tulip‐shaped structure is constructed with petal and calyx by the EM‐mode synthesis. By tuning the petal structure, wideband performance covering 2.55 to 40.5 GHz (1:16)

## Abstract Design and performance measures of a printed multistrip monopole antenna for ultra‐wideband application are presented. The proposed antenna consists of six quarter wavelength strips of different resonant frequency combined in a manner to provide wide bandwidth and omnidirectional patter
## Abstract A novel CPW‐fed monopole UWB antenna is presented in this article. To increase the impedance bandwidth, a notched ground is introduced. The parameters and the characteristics of the antenna are given. The optimized antenna presents 3.8:1 ratio bandwidth and 116.7% impedance bandwidth fo
## Abstract In this article, a heart‐shaped monopole antenna with wide bandwidth is proposed, which is composed of a heart‐shaped monopole patch and two rectangular ground plane, both of the structures are printed on the same side of a substrate and fed by a coplanar waveguide. The simulated and ex
## Abstract A novel dual‐band monopole antenna that consists of symmetrical G‐shaped strips and triangular branches, fed by a 50‐Ω microstrip transmission line is introduced. The designed antenna is proposed for wireless local area networks (WLAN) applications in the 2.4 and 5.2/5.8 GHz bands. The
