✦ Synopsis

The title compound, C 20 H 19 N, is a second polymorph of N,Ndibenzylaniline [Bi, Tong & Zhou (2007). Acta Cryst. E63, o1809-o1810]. The present polymorph and that already reported crystallize in the monoclinic space group P2 1 /n with one and two independent molecules, respectively. The molecular conformations in the two polymorphs are slightly different.
