We have studied the effects of disorder in a series of Sn films quench-condensed onto cryogenically cooled substrates. We find a simple scaling of the conductivity with film thickness r ~ (d -de)', with v ~ 0.85, and a metal-insulator transition near dc~40-50A. The superconducting transition tempera

A calorimeter of high sensitivity for measurements of the specific heat of thin films in the temperature range 0.6-4.4 K is described. A Be foil serves as the substrate. The special arrangement allows measurements on highly disordered metallic films produced by quenchcondensation on the cooled subst
