✦ Synopsis
A calorimeter of high sensitivity for measurements of the specific heat of thin films in the temperature range 0.6-4.4 K is described. A Be foil serves as the substrate. The special arrangement allows measurements on highly disordered metallic films produced by quenchcondensation on the cooled substrate.
