## Abstract An operationally simple preparation of glycolic‐1‐^14^C acid from ^14^CO~2~ has been developed using a tin‐lithium exchange reaction to generate the required hydroxymethyl anion equivalent. Glycolic‐1‐^14^C acid was then produced in high yield and good radiochemical purity upon hydrogen

## Abstract Catalytic hydrogenation of 1‐aminocyclopropenecarboxylic acid under tritium gas afforded [2,3‐^3^H]1‐aminocyclopropanecarboxylic acid with specific activity 26 Ci/mmol, determined by a combination of ^1^H and ^3^H NMR. Pilot radioligand binding assays indicate this compound will be a us
