## Background and objectives: We describe a case of granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (gcsf) and interleukin-6 (il-6)-producing lung cancer. ## Methods: A 53-year-old man underwent left upper lobectomy under diagnosis of lung cancer. the tumor obtained by a preoperative biopsy was analyzed.

Colony-stimulating factors (CSFs) produced by two simian virus 40(SV40) transformed macrophage cell lines ( BAMl and BAM3 ), and three hybrids derived from fusion between BAM3 and a Chinese hamster cell line (hs222-16) were examined. HM3-11 and HM3-14 produce two molecular species of CSF, which are
