✦ Synopsis

A modification of the S. Panyim and R. Chalkley (1%9, Arch. Biochem. Biophys. 130, 337) acetic acid-urea polyacrylamide gel system to include a stacking gel has been devised. The modification makes possible the use of acetic acid-urea gels in the microslab system of P. T. Matsudaira and D. R. Burgess (1978, Anal. Biochem. 87, 386).
