## Coupling of alkylamines to cyanogen bromide-activated agarose results in the formation of N-substituted isoureas, which are good nucleophiles. The nucleophilic attack of these isoureas on the active chromogenic esterp-nitrophenyl acetate causes the release of an equivalent amount ofp-nitropheno
