✍ C. Jansson; P. Morgen 📂 Article 📅 1990 🏛 John Wiley and Sons 🌐 English ⚖ 574 KB

## Abstract Factor analysis is applied to d(__NE__)/d__E__ Auger electron spectra of a series of AuCu alloys (25% Au, 50% Au and 75% Au), including in the analysis the spectra of clean Au and Cu surfaces. Surface quantitation is obtained from the low‐energy Au NOO and Cu LMM spectra of the alloys.

✍ J. Siera; M. J. Koster van Groos; B. E. Nieuwenhuys 📂 Article 📅 2010 🏛 Elsevier Science 🌐 English ⚖ 355 KB

## Abstract The adsorption and dissociation of NO have been studied on a Pt‐Rh(100)‐alloy single‐crystal surface by thermal‐desorption spectroscopy (TDS). It was found that, at low coverages, NO dissociates completely upon heating to form N~2~ and O~2~. At higher coverages, NO desorption was observ

## Abstract Single‐scattering Monte Carlo electron trajectory simulation has been implemented for the calculation of characteristic x‐ray production in thin films on substrates. The validity of the simulation has been verified by comparison with EDX results from various thicknesses of gold and silv
