Msasurement have been carried on the rapidity of distribution of a small amount of liquid added to the contents of an agitated vesseh With the adopted measuring method mixing speeds under different conditions can be compared. Results are given for two different tank sizes, three kinds of agitators at different locations and speeds, with and without baffles.
