The title compound, C 23 H 18 O 4 , contains two molecules in the asymmetric unit which differ from each other in the dihedral angles between the benzyl and chromone groups. There are intramolecular and intermolecular C-HÁ Á ÁO interactions as well asstacking interactions in the crystal structure.
