In the title compound, [Cu(C 16 H 16 N 4 ) 2 ](ClO 4 ) 2 , the Cu II atom lies on an inversion centre and has a distorted square-planar geometry. In each ligand, the dihedral angle between the triazole and pyridine rings is 9.1 (3) , and that between the triazole and benzene rings is 85.01 ( 14) .

The crystal structure of the title compound, [Ni(C 15 H 10 Cl 2- N 2 O 2 )(C 5 H 5 N) 3 ]ÁC 5 H 5 N, is built of molecules of a mononuclear nickel complex and uncoordinated solvent pyridine molecules. The Ni II atom in the complex is coordinated by two O and one N atoms of the meridional tridentate
