✦ Synopsis
The title compound, C 19 H 18 N 2 O 3 S, shows favourable activity against HIV-1. The phenyl ring is twisted with respect to the pyrimidine ring by 61.56 (9) . Intermolecular N-HÁ Á ÁO and C-HÁ Á ÁO hydrogen bonding links the molecules into a supramolecular chain structure and stabilizes the crystal structure of the compound.

In the title molecule, C 20 H 22 N 2 O, the pyridine heterocycle has an envelope conformation. The crystal packing is stabilized by intermolecular N-HÁ Á ÁO hydrogen bonds, which link the molecules into chains along the [110] direction.
The tetrahydropyrimidine ring of the title molecule, C 11 H 11 FN 2 OS, adopts a half-chair conformation. In the crystal structure, the molecules are linked to form centrosymmetric hydrogen-bonded dimers.
