✦ Synopsis
In the title molecule, C 20 H 22 N 2 O, the pyridine heterocycle has an envelope conformation. The crystal packing is stabilized by intermolecular N-HÁ Á ÁO hydrogen bonds, which link the molecules into chains along the [110] direction.

In the title compound, C 19 H 19 N 3 O, the five-membered imidazolone ring is essentially planar. Intermolecular N-HÁ Á ÁO hydrogen bonds form an infinite chain. The C-N and C-C bond lengths indicate electron delocalization.
The crystal structure of the title compound, C 18 H 15 Cl 2 N 3 O, shows that the Cl atoms take part in intermolecular C-HÁ Á ÁCl interactions.
The title compound, C 19 H 18 N 2 O 3 S, shows favourable activity against HIV-1. The phenyl ring is twisted with respect to the pyrimidine ring by 61.56 (9) . Intermolecular N-HÁ Á ÁO and C-HÁ Á ÁO hydrogen bonding links the molecules into a supramolecular chain structure and stabilizes the crystal
The crystal structure of the title compound, C 19 H 19 N 3 O 2 , shows the molecule to be essentially planar with the exception of the terminal phenyl group. Molecules are associated via intermolecular C-HÁ Á ÁO hydrogen bonds.
In the title compound, C 27 H 23 N 3 O 5 , the pyrimidine ring is slightly puckered. The mean plane of the pyrimidine ring forms dihedral angles of 28.26 (10), 55.53 (9) and 55.96 (10) with the three benzene rings in the molecule. There are intramolecular and intermolecular C-HÁ Á ÁO interactions.
