✦ Synopsis

Abstract

^31^P chemical shifts in N‐aryliminotriphenylphosphoranes and the corresponding N‐methylated phosphonium salts are presented. They can be correlated with those theories of the bonding in phosphorus‐nitrogen ylides which involve partial double bonding as a result of p^π^–d^π^ overlap.

The isotope-induced chemical shifts 1 14/15 N( 31 P) were determined at natural abundance of 15 N by using HEED INEPT experiments. A dependence of 1 14/15 N( 31 P) on the substituents at nitrogen was found (alkyl < H < aryl; increasingly negative values). The magnitude and sign of the coupling const

## Abstract Steady‐state free precession (SSFP) methods have been very successful due to their high signal and short imaging times. These properties make them good candidates for applications that intrinsically suffer from low signal such as low gamma nuclei imaging. A new chemical shift imaging (C
