✍ Elizabeth M. Briggs; Geoffrey W. Brown; Peter M. Cairns; Josef Jiricny; Mohamed 📂 Article 📅 1980 🏛 John Wiley and Sons 🌐 English ⚖ 119 KB

## Abstract ^31^P chemical shifts in __N__‐aryliminotriphenylphosphoranes and the corresponding __N__‐methylated phosphonium salts are presented. They can be correlated with those theories of the bonding in phosphorus‐nitrogen ylides which involve partial double bonding as a result of p^π^–d^π^ ove

19F chemical shifts of bridgehead fluori
✍ Tony K. Bradshaw; Philip T. Hine; Ernest W. Della 📂 Article 📅 1981 🏛 John Wiley and Sons 🌐 English ⚖ 140 KB

## Abstract The ^19^F chemical shifts of a series of bridgehead fluorides are reported. It is found that, contrary to earlier conclusions based on a limited number of substrates, the fluorine shifts occur randomly.

Aminodiphenylphosphanes: Isotope-induced
✍ Rosalinda Contreras; Jean Michel Grevy; Zureima García-Hernández; Marisol Göizad 📂 Article 📅 2001 🏛 John Wiley and Sons 🌐 English ⚖ 244 KB

The isotope-induced chemical shifts 1 14/15 N( 31 P) were determined at natural abundance of 15 N by using HEED INEPT experiments. A dependence of 1 14/15 N( 31 P) on the substituents at nitrogen was found (alkyl < H < aryl; increasingly negative values). The magnitude and sign of the coupling const

## Abstract The signs and magnitudes of every fluorine–fluorine coupling constant in perfluoroquinoline (**1**), 2,4‐dichloropentafluoroquinoline (**2**) and 2‐bromohexafluoroquinoline (**3**) have been determined by ^19^F n.m.r. These provide an unambiguous assignment of the spectrum of the first
