The title compound, C 14 H 12 N 2 O 4 , exists as an enol-imine tautomer, in which a strong intramolecular O-HÁ Á ÁN hydrogen bond is formed. This study verifies the preference of the enol-imine tautomeric form in the solid state.

The organic moiety of the title compound, C 11 H 18 NO 5 PÁ2H 2 O, is zwitterionic. The crystal packing is stabilized by N-HÁ Á ÁO and O-HÁ Á ÁO hydrogen bonds.
The title compound, [Fe(C 5 H 5 )(C 19 H 15 ClN)], a new ketiminecontaining ferrocenyl derivative, has been synthesized and characterized structurally. Conjugation between the two benzene rings and the imine group is not observed. In addition, there are no significant intermolecular interactions.
The title compound, C 13 H 18 N 2 O 2 , exists in the enol-imine tautomeric form with a strong intramolecular O-HÁ Á ÁN hydrogen bond [OÁ Á ÁN = 2.5795 (18) A ˚], and the morpholine ring adopts an almost perfect chair conformation.
The molecule of the title compound, C 9 H 9 Cl 2 NO 2 , is a zwitterion with cationic iminium and an anionic phenolate group, which form an intramolecular N-HÁ Á ÁO hydrogen bond closing a six-membered pseudocycle. Intermolecular O-HÁ Á ÁO hydrogen bonds link the molecules into infinite chains runni
