✦ Synopsis

The title compound, [Ag(C~8~H~10~NO~3~S)(C~18~H~15~P)~2~]·CH~3~CN, has a mononuclear structure, where the Ag^I^ cation is three-coordinated by two triphenylphosphine ligands and one N atom from the 2-amino-3,5-dimethylbenzenesulfonate anion in a distorted trigonal-planar AgP~2~N arrangement. A network of N—H...O hydrogen bonds helps to consolidate the packing.
