Abstract
2β and 3β[^18^F]fluorothiophene and 2β and 3 [^18^F]fluoroβNβmethyl pyrrole have been obtained by the reaction of thiophene and Nβmethylpyrrole with molecular fluorine [^18^F]βF~2~ under carefully controlled conditions.

## Abstract Labelled oligonucleotides are new imaging tools to study gene expression at the nucleic acid and protein levels. We have previously developed a universal method to label oligonucleotides at their 3β²βend with radiohalogens and particularly with fluorineβ18, the most widely used positronβ
