β¦ Synopsis
We report the 13C NMR chemical shifts of some active quinolones against Plasmodium falciparum, namely 3-amino-9-phenyl-1H-pyrazolo [3,4-b]quinolones and 2,4-diamino-10-phenylpyrimido[4, 5-b]quinolones. They were characterized and assigned on the basis of 13CΓ1H (short and long-range) correlated spectra.

The 1 H and 13 C NMR resonances of 12 tetracyclic phenothiazine derivatives were completely and unequivocally assigned by the concerted application of 1 H-detected heteronuclear one-bond (gs-HMQC) and long-range (gs-HMBC) gradient selected correlation experiments. 1 H and 13 C chemical shifts are al
The 13C NMR spectra of several 1-(2-hydroxymethylcyclopentyl)and 1-(2-hydroxymethylcyclopentylmethyl)uracils and 5halouracils (X ΒΌ Cl, Br or I) were fully assigned with the aid of one-(13C, 1H-1H NOE, DEPT) and two-dimensional (HMQC) NMR experiments.
1H and 13C NMR spectral data for 12 N-[(benzo-or heterocycloalkyl)methyl or ethyl]-4-(p-Γuorobenzoyl)piperidines were fully assigned by a combination of one-(1H, 13C, DEPT) and twodimensional (HMQC) NMR experiments.
Because of the upsurge of interest in polychlorobuta-1,3-diene derivatives as uncommon contaminants in underground water, seven congeners, the three pentachloro-and four tetrachloro-[(Z)-and (E)-1,1,3,4tetrachloro-, 1,1,4,4-tetrachloro-and (Z,Z)-1,2,3,4-tetrachloro]buta-1,3-dienes, were synthesized
