Abstract

The ^13^C NMR chemical shifts of ten arylmethylated trans‐β‐methyl‐β‐nitrostyrenes and the parent compound were measured and the spectra interpreted. Chemical shift assignments for the aryl‐methylated compounds have not, to our knowledge, been reported previously. The data are based on 1 D and 2D experiments performed at 9.4 T.
