The cyclopentene ring of the title compound, C 15 H 14 Cl 2 S 2 , is almost planar. The two thiophene rings are twisted out of the mean plane of the cyclopentene ring by 39.97 (5) and 50.84 (5) .

In the title compound, C 14 H 22 N 4 S 2 , a diethyl disul®de bridge containing an SÐS bond of 2.0396 (6) A Ê connects two 3,5dimethylpyrazole rings via the N1 atoms. The disul®de molecules are linked by weak CÐHÁ Á Á%(pyrazole) interactions into chains that propagate along the b direction.
