Personality is the totality of various psychological, cognitive and behaviourial characteristics, including such personality elements as emotions, motives, interests, attitudes, willpowers, values, and demands. And complete personality develops from the nourishing of all necessary personality elements and of the proportionate composition of the necessary elements. Complete personality is built usually by two approaches, courses in psychological, ethical and educational areas, and courses in natural sciences, social sciences and humanities. Personality building, however, in the university curriculum, does not attain desired objectives, as there are students found with problems in personality. Buddhist mati can well promote personality building, by addressing the problems, enriching moral education as to improve the personality, and setting good psychological, cognitive and behaviourial grounds for disciplinary development.
