Abstract
A further series of butyric acid amides has been synthesised in which the diethylamino, pyrrolidino and piperidino groups of previously reported syntheses have been substituted by morpholino groups. The influence of the various groups in the present and in previously reported derivatives on the pharmacology of the series is reported and summarised. The conditions necessary for maximum local anaesthesia and barbiturate potentiation are discussed.
