Abstract

Entgegen den übereinstimmenden Angaben mehrer Autoren fanden wir für die α‐Hydroxy‐adipinsäure einen Smp. von 102–103°, anstatt 151–152°. Die Struktur der niedrigschmelzenden Säure konnte durch Synthese, Abbau und Lactonbildung gesichert werden.
